Who we are
The website and the customer app are run by Yildiz Kapak Ltd, a private company limited by shares registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Flat 15 Aneurin Bevan Court, 55 Coles Green Road, London NW2 6EE, United Kingdom.
Our factory and showrooms are in Iraq (see Contact). In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Yildiz Kapak Ltd.
Using the website
You can browse the website free of charge and without an account. The catalogue, pictures, 3D views and texts are general information to help you choose; they are not an offer to sell.
Colours on a screen are never exact. The real colour, gloss and wood grain of a panel can look different from a picture or a 3D view, so ask to see a sample at a showroom before you decide.
We may add, change or stop designs and colours at any time. The website shows no prices.
Orders
Orders are not placed through the website. An order exists only when our sales team confirms it to you in writing, with an order or invoice from us. The price, payment, delivery and other conditions are the ones in that confirmation.
Orders, sales and deliveries are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq, and the courts of Baghdad deal with any dispute about them.
The customer app
The customer app is for our customers. You get access with an invitation from our sales team. We may refuse or end access, for example when an account is no longer active or is misused.
Keep your phone and your sign-in safe. Anything done with your account is treated as done by you, until you tell us it has been lost or misused.
The app shows your orders, invoices and account as recorded in our accounting system. If something looks wrong, contact us; our written invoices and statements decide.
Messages and photos you send in the app go to our staff. Send only what your order needs, and nothing unlawful or offensive.
Fair use
- Do not try to break into, overload or disrupt the website, the app or our servers.
- Do not copy the catalogue in bulk with automated tools.
- Do not pretend to be someone else or use another customer’s account.
- Do not use the website or the app for anything unlawful.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
Our designs and content
The designs, pictures, 3D models and texts, the Yildiz name and the star logo belong to Yildiz Kapak Ltd or to those who license them to us. You may view them and share links to them. You may not copy, make or sell our designs, or use our pictures and texts commercially, without our written permission.
Other services
Links to WhatsApp, phone calls, email and maps open services run by other companies. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.
Availability
We work to keep the website and the app running and correct, but we cannot promise they will always be available, free of errors or up to date. We may change or pause them, for example for maintenance.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using, or not being able to use, the website or the app, or from relying on their general information, such as loss of profit or business, or indirect losses.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in them takes away rights a consumer has by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The version on this page when you use the website or the app is the one that applies.
Law and courts
Apart from orders (see “Orders” above), these terms and your use of the website and the app are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
